Why travel?
There are about a million reasons out there pack your bag and hit the road.
Maybe you want experience.
To witness the finest Japanese sumo wrestlers practice their dying craft.
Maybe you dream of adventure.
To stand atop a mountain you climbed through the night, looking into the distance as the sun rises and lights up the sky.
Maybe you are presented with an opportunity.
To take a ride through the French countryside and savor the finest wines in the Loire valley.
Maybe you just want a change in your life.
Any of these and endless other reasons are more than enough to get you out the and experiencing the world. But there’s more to it than just getting out the door. The reasons for leaving aren’t the same as the perks you get while doing it.
Consider broadening your thoughts.
Don’t just think of a reason to leave. Don’t travel just to say you moved about somewhere.
Think about what kind of experience you want to have, the character of your travels.
What is important to you?
What do you want from trail?
Why shall you travel?
